[00:00:30] I'm your host call it. Welcome to the very first episode of sales hassle brought to you by sales cast. My name's Colin Mitchell. I am your host and I am the co-founder of sales cast. Now the purpose of this episode was just to give you the listener, an idea of what to expect. Bring you into learn a little bit about myself as well as [00:00:59] what our mission is here at sales hustle.
[00:01:02] So to tell you a little bit about my story, I first started in sales 10 years ago, and my first job was a full cycle sales rep selling over the phone. And when I got that job, I was given a script, a list of names and a phone and a CRM that frankly didn't even work. And I didn't have a lot of resources there.
[00:01:27] Wasn't a lot of training. My training consists mostly of somebody breathing down my neck telling me not to say that or to save this. And that was kind of the environment. So most of my training. Listening to others, asking questions, picking up things that other people were doing that were getting success in sales.
[00:01:47] But to really up my game in sales and transform from a sales rep to a sales professional, I had to seek out. Ways to [00:01:58] up my game and whether that was a podcast or a book or a blog or content, I had to find those resources. Now I want to save you the hassle of that. And we brought a provide you the one place where you can go and be guaranteed that you are going to get good.
[00:02:17] Tactical things that you can apply in your sales career, whatever it is, whatever industry you're in, that you can apply to really improve and become a sales professional, or up your game as a sales professional. So we're going to go out and we're going to search out the top Changemakers in sales. We're going to bring them on and we've instructed them to bring nothing but fire so that these 30 minute episodes.
