[00:00:20] And now to David to tell you what you can expect in today's episode.

[00:00:29] Behind the success is losing more and winning less. This is round four with Greg Nutter. And in this episode, Greg shares the results that his book delivered to his audience. He and Colin will also discuss the reality of losing more and winning. Before getting your success. So let's have a quick rundown about results and outcomes and get another dose of Greg's wisdom gear in sales transformation.

[00:00:58] What are some of the results that you've seen from sellers that, uh, start to adopt this, this way of selling and, and way of thinking that is, you know, inside the book? Um, I think there's a couple first off it's, um, Of course sales success, you know, um, my prospecting is being more effective. Um, my customers that I talk to see higher value in getting together with me, um, of course maybe winning more deals.

[00:01:34] Um, but I think there's a personal one is that, um, Sellers start to feel like they're in control of their lives and control of their business. It's not certainly selling is. Got a lot of the luck of the draw to it. Um, there's uh, sometimes you pick up the phone and before you know it, you got the deal and sometimes you wrestle something for a couple years and you lose it.

[00:02:00] Yeah. So there's certainly some, some fortunate involved, but I think having a clear framework that I can follow and execute, I know what I'm supposed to do today. I have this opportunity. I know how to look at it and come up with the next best steps. Yeah. Right. Um, so there's that comfort that, that, um, I know what I'm doing.

[00:02:22] I know how to make this happen. I won't win 'em all, but I'll win more than, uh, than most if there's a, there's a quote. I stole the put in the book. It's, uh, I can't even name the, the guy who said it, but he said, you know, um, the battle, uh, the battle doesn't always go to the, to the strongest. Or the race to the swiftest mm-hmm but that's how you bet.

[00:02:49] Yeah. Yeah. Um, I mean, this kind of brings up something I've been thinking about a lot lately is, um, And I was actually surprised that some people disagree with this. Um, but I'd be curious to get your thoughts is like you can, one of the hardest things I think in sales is you can literally do everything, right?

[00:03:11] Follow the process, ask the right questions, talking to the right people have all the right people involved. Like you can literally do everything right to a T and still lose . Yes. Yeah. Um, there's people who disagree, people, there's people who think like, no, if you lost, you did something wrong, you could have done something better.

[00:03:35] Um, even the best people in sales that I know. And I've talked to a lot of people, um, They lose more than they win, even though they might not wanna admit it, but in their we're I'm talking, you know, elite, you know, seven figure earners, you know, they lose more than they win. And, uh, yep. You can do every, I, I firmly believe you can literally do everything right.

[00:03:56] And still lose. And that's one of the hardest things that I think a lot of sellers have because they're questioning what did I do wrong? And sometimes the answer is like nothing. You literally did your best. Did everything the way you should have. Um, And you just lost because there's too many things you don't control.

[00:04:14] Thanks for tuning in to today's episode. If you're enjoying the show, drop us a review on your favorite podcast platform. And we hope that you'll tune in again tomorrow as we are here for you every day, weekends included to help you transform the way you sell.
