[00:00:53] All right. Welcome to another episode of sales transformation. Today. I'm gonna talk about a topic that I don't talk about enough, honestly. Um, and I wanna talk about how you can deal with being in a sales rut. I don't care how good you are in sales. If you've been in sales long enough, you've experienced a bit of a rut in sales.

[00:01:17] Um, and it's up to you, how long you stay in that rut. Now I actually was experiencing a bit of a rut myself. Um, had a lot going on. Didn't have a healthy pipeline and now I'm paying for that. Okay. Having my fourth kid moving to a home office, lots of excuses. Um, but also you gotta remember to give yourself a little bit of grace if you got a lot going on, but it can be very detrimental to you as a seller.

[00:01:51] If you allow yourself to stay in that rut for too long. So. Main thing. Talk to people, talk to your sales leader, talk to, um, your mentor, whoever you look up to talk to people on your team, get support. Okay. Cuz it can be tough to be in a sales rut. Um, but there's some things that you can control. You can control your mindset, you can control your attitude.

[00:02:14] You can control how you show up, even though you might not be getting the results that you're looking. Right now. Okay. So you can break outta that rut. Okay. Take a deep breath. Give yourself some grace. Think about some of the wins that you have had in the past. Also remember to count the small wins, you know, booking a meeting, reactivating an account upselling cross-selling, um, cross selling, um, even just in your personal life, getting up, making your bed, eating healthy, exercising, having a journal practice meditating.

[00:02:49] Whatever it is, make sure you're taking care of you first so that you can show up as the best version of yourself professionally and give yourself some credit for those small wins. Those are all gonna contribute to showing up with the positive mindset, even though you might not getting the results, the sales results, the closed one opportunities that you are hoping for.

[00:03:10] Okay. And the number one thing that you can control. Is keep swinging, keep getting up to bat. Okay. Cuz it's very easy to get down and have that negative self talk and stop prospecting. Stop following up, stop trying to advance deals. Stop doing the things that are gonna get you out of the rut and that's what you want to avoid.

[00:03:32] Okay. So focus on the things that you can control, work on your mindset. Count those small wins and keep swinging. This will pass. Okay. It always does.
