[00:00:24] Welcome to another episode of sales transformation. Today's a solo episode where I'm going to give you three underrated ways that sellers can use podcasts to drive revenue. Now, the most obvious one is starting a podcast. Many people are starting podcasts. These days interviewing their ideal clients, their prospects, partners, you name it.
[00:00:45] That's the most obvious one. I'm not going to go into that one. Most underrated ways of youth that podcasting can be used to drive revenue for a seller first way. If you want to reach your prospects in a super personalized way, you can go look and search out for podcasts that they've been on. You can consume those podcasts.
[00:01:05] Quick hack for that is you can put it to one and a half or two X speed. When you're consuming those, take some notes there. You can get some really good nuggets to have good personalization and relevance. When you reach out to them a great resource where it's easy to search for these potential prospects is listen notes.
[00:01:22] You can go to listen notes, you can search their name. By episode, find out some podcasts that say, been on mentioned those and good, some good information to reach out to your podcast, your prospects, from using the information that you learned in while consuming those podcasts. Right. That's number one.
[00:01:39] Number two is guesting on podcasts. This one is really hard for a lot of people to get started. They don't know what types of shows they should go on. They don't know how to reach out to these. They don't even know what to do if they actually ended up getting the S and going on these shows. So we're going to actually cover this in a masterclass November 30th.
[00:01:55] You can find it on LinkedIn, get on book masterclass by sales cast. Um, we're going to cover all these strategies, but high level, you want to figure out what type of podcasts are your buyers or your customers or ICP listening. And those are the types of shows that you should go on. You should reach out to these people in a meaningful way.
[00:02:12] Let them know that you actually checked out your show, how you think you can bring some value to the listeners of their show and continuously follow up because sometimes it takes five to eight follow-ups to actually get a yes. Before you get a yes, to go on a show. When you go on those shows, make sure it's not a sales pitch, make sure that you're providing education and value, and then you might have a.
[00:02:32] Solid simple single call to action at the end of every podcast that you go on. Right? So that's number two. And then the third way that you can actually use podcasting to drive revenue, as you can find podcasts that are looking to monetize their shows, there's many, um, successful shows. Trying to find ways to make money through their show and you can create partner or affiliate relationships with these shows.
[00:02:56] Um, you know, you basically partner with them, make sure that their customer, your customers are the types of people that are listening to their show and, you know, come up with a partner agreement or referral agreement or an affiliate agreement to drive rather than. For you in your role. So there's three under estimated or underrated ways of using podcasting to drive revenue would none of which are the most obvious, which is to start a show.
