Today is a solo episode with me and I'm going to be bringing you the number one thing that you can do to increase your pipeline and increase your close rates. And it's not what you think it might be. It's not. To get better negotiation skills. It's not to sharpen your prospecting X it's.

[00:00:48] None of those things. The number one thing that I found out in my direct experience in some of the top elite sellers that I've talked to over 150 episodes [00:00:59] of a sales podcast, is this invest in yourself. Now, what does that mean? That doesn't mean working crazy hours. What it means is taking care of yourself, treating yourself like a professional athlete.

[00:01:14] What you do out of the office matters in it is going to directly affect how you perform in your role or in the office, or if you're working from home. But what I mean is things like this. Getting proper sleep. Huge, very important thing to, uh, do on a consistent basis to perform at the highest level, eating healthy foods, exercising, having some sort of spiritual or maybe meditation practice journaling on a regular basis, which is still a tough one for me.

[00:01:47] Uh, but these are the type of things that I'm talking about. Taking care of yourself personally, investing in your personal growth so that you can crush your quota and [00:01:58] experience what it is to perform at the highest level in your professional role. Now think about that for a second. It's not hard. It's not, uh, getting into more hard sales skills.

[00:02:14] It's taking care of yourself badly, better mentally, physically, and emotionally, so that you can be the best version of yourself when you show up in your role, whatever that is, this is the number one thing that you can do to be better in your role, to increase yourselves, to fill your pipeline, to hit your quota, to make presidents club, whatever your goals and aspirations are.
